Stitched Parchment Table Lamp with Walnut & Iron Base
The Stitched Parchment Table Lamp combines distinctive geometric proportions with natural materials and carefully considered detailing. Featuring a tall, tapered parchment shade supported by a structured iron and walnut base, this decorative table lamp creates an appealing contrast between soft, translucent surfaces and clean architectural lines.
The defining feature is its parchment shade, constructed with angular panels joined by visible cross-stitch detailing. The stitching follows the vertical seams and edges of the shade, introducing texture and visual interest while emphasizing its sculptural silhouette. When illuminated, the parchment gently diffuses the light, creating a soft, inviting glow that highlights the material's subtle surface character.
Beneath the shade, a compact silver-finished iron base provides a contemporary counterpoint to the organic parchment. Natural walnut detailing at the base introduces warmth and a subtle connection to traditional furniture craftsmanship. This thoughtful combination of materials gives the lamp a distinctive appearance that feels equally appropriate in Scandinavian, contemporary and transitional interiors.
Measuring 45 cm in height, the lamp offers a slender profile suited to bedside tables, living room sideboards, console tables and home offices. Its softly diffused illumination makes it particularly effective as an ambient accent light, bringing warmth and visual depth to intimate interior settings.
Key Features
- Distinctive Stitched Parchment Shade: The tapered parchment panels feature prominent cross-stitch detailing along their edges and vertical seams. This decorative construction introduces texture and gives the lamp a recognizable architectural character, even when switched off.
- Soft, Diffused Ambient Lighting: The parchment shade filters light through its translucent surface, reducing the visual intensity of the exposed light source and producing a comfortable, atmospheric glow suited to evening relaxation.
- Contrasting Iron and Walnut Construction: A structured iron base creates a clean, contemporary foundation, while the walnut detailing adds natural warmth. The combination balances industrial precision with softer, organic materials.
- Sculptural Geometric Silhouette: The elongated, tapered shade creates a strong vertical profile, making the lamp visually distinctive without requiring a large footprint. Its structured form works particularly well alongside minimalist furniture and natural interior materials.
- Versatile Decorative Placement: With its compact 16 cm width and 45 cm overall height, the lamp can be positioned on bedside tables, living room consoles, office desks and accent furniture where a taller decorative light is desired.
- Convenient Plug-In Design: The lamp connects directly to a compatible power outlet using its approximately 150 cm cord, allowing flexible placement without permanent electrical installation.
- Included Light Source: A light source is included, allowing the lamp to be used without purchasing a separate bulb.
