My main priority was finding a wall light that looked appealing with the light switched off. Our entrance gets plenty of daylight, so the fitting itself needed to suit the wall. The natural stone finish does that nicely. It introduces a bit of texture without making everything feel busy, and the simple design keeps the focus on the material. We took some time deciding where it should sit alongside the door. Once that was sorted, the result looked really good, we're pleased with how the entrance has come together.

Adding this was part of tidying up the back entrance. We didn't change everything around it, but the new fitting made that corner look more intentional. The natural finish is my favourite detail, especially when you see it during the day.

After looking at several outdoor lights, the stone finish was what made this stand out. Our entrance is quite plain, so a little texture works well. It looks interesting in daylight too, which mattered to me as much as the lighting itself.

Once it was on the wall, it tied in nicely with the surrounding materials. The evening lighting is pleasant, although the texture is what I notice most in daylight. Overall, it feels like a considered addition to the space rather than something chosen just to fill a gap.

Finally replaced the old porch fitting. Should of done it sooner, this looks much more considered.
