Five black iron blades spread out above a cluster of clear glass globes on this vintage style ceiling fan, each globe holding an Edison-style LED bulb for a warm, industrial glow. The quiet DC motor runs in three speeds.

Choose a 42″ (107cm), 48″ (122cm) or 52″ (132cm) blade span, all 21.7″ (55cm) high, with 5 globes on Model A or 3 on Model B. It comes in a 110V or 220V version to suit your home, and the included remote controls the fan and the lights.

Vintage Black Ceiling Fan with Glass Globe Lights dimensions

Lighting & Control

E26/E27 LED bulbs are included, one in each clear glass globe: 5 on Model A and 3 on Model B. You can swap them for other LED or Edison-style bulbs.

The included remote controls the fan and the lights. Standard wall switches aren't compatible. Dimming isn't listed for this fan, so email us before ordering if you need it on a dimmer.

Installation

This fan is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so installation by a licensed electrician is recommended. It comes with 4.9″ (12.5cm) and 9.8″ (25cm) rods, and longer rods can be arranged on request.

Mount it to a concrete ceiling or a solid wood beam at least 2.4″ (6cm) wide. It isn't suited to drywall on joists, gypsum board, wood-panel or prefabricated ceilings, as these can cause noise and wobble.

It can't be installed on a sloped ceiling. Fit the blade gaskets when attaching the blades. It's for indoor use only.

Does it have a light?

Yes. E26/E27 LED bulbs are included, one in each clear glass globe: 5 on Model A and 3 on Model B.

Which size should I choose?

The 42″ (107cm) suits rooms up to about 100 sq ft (9 sq m), like bedrooms and offices. The 48″ (122cm) suits rooms of about 100 to 200 sq ft (9 to 19 sq m), and the 52″ (132cm) suits rooms of 200 sq ft (19 sq m) and up.

What's the difference between Model A and Model B?

Model A has 5 glass globe lights, for main room lighting. Model B has 3, for a softer glow when you have other lighting in the room. Both have the same fan performance.

How do I control it?

The included remote controls the fan and the lights. Standard wall switches aren't compatible.

What ceiling does it need?

A concrete ceiling or a solid wood beam at least 2.4″ (6cm) wide. It isn't suited to drywall on joists, gypsum board, wood-panel, prefabricated or sloped ceilings.

Can I hang it lower?

It comes with 4.9″ (12.5cm) and 9.8″ (25cm) rods. Longer lengths can be arranged, so email us your required drop before ordering.

How to size, mount and install your ceiling fan, and what to expect when you order.

What size fan do I need?

As a guide, rooms up to 75 sq ft (7 m²) suit a blade span up to 36 in (91 cm). Rooms up to 144 sq ft (13 m²) suit 36 to 44 in (91 to 112 cm), and rooms up to 225 sq ft (21 m²) suit 44 to 52 in (112 to 132 cm). Larger rooms suit 52 in (132 cm) or more.

How high should it be mounted?

The blades should sit at least 7 ft (2.1 m) above the floor, and ideally 8 to 9 ft (2.4 to 2.7 m) for the best airflow. Low ceilings suit a flush or close-mount fan, while high or sloped ceilings may need a longer downrod.

Does it have a light and remote?

It depends on the model. The specifications list whether it has a built-in LED light, whether that light dims or switches between warm and cool white, which controls are included, and whether it has a reverse function for year-round use.

Is it quiet enough for a bedroom?

DC motors generally run quieter than AC motors, which makes them a popular choice for bedrooms.

Do I need an electrician, and can it go outdoors?

Yes. Ceiling fans are hardwired and must be securely mounted to a ceiling that can support them, so we recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

For a covered patio or bathroom, choose a fan listed as waterproof or IP rated for damp or wet locations.

Will it work with my home's power supply?

Yes. Choose the 110V version for the United States and Canada, or the 220V version for the United Kingdom and Australia.
