Modern Outdoor Solar Pillar Light with Adjustable LED Aluminium Design and IP54 Rating

Designed for contemporary outdoor spaces, this pillar light combines a clean architectural silhouette with practical outdoor illumination. The structured aluminium body and acrylic shade create a balanced modern profile that works beautifully on entrance pillars, gate posts, fence columns, garden walls and outdoor pathways.

Available in multiple sizes and power options, this versatile outdoor pillar light allows you to choose between a solar-powered design for simple installation or a hardwired version for permanent outdoor lighting. The solar model provides independent illumination without requiring electrical connection, while the hardwired option offers a fixed lighting solution for integrated exterior designs.

The geometric form creates a refined finishing touch for residential entrances and landscaped areas, providing both decorative presence during the day and a welcoming glow at night. Its weather-resistant construction and IP54 protection make it suitable for outdoor environments where reliable illumination is required.

Outdoor Placement Guide
For the best visual balance, select a size that matches the scale of your pillar, gate post or fence column. Larger versions create stronger architectural presence on wider entrance structures, while smaller versions suit compact posts and garden features.

Solar Installation Note
The solar version requires placement where the solar panel receives sufficient direct sunlight during the day for charging performance.

Pillar Light FAQ

Pillar lights are fixtures designed to mount directly onto the top or face of a gate post, fence pillar, or masonry column. They are most commonly used at driveway entrances, front gates, and garden borders to provide both security lighting and a strong architectural statement. They differ from post lights in that they sit on an existing structure rather than a freestanding pole.

Yes. All of our pillar lights carry an IP rating suitable for permanent outdoor exposure. The IP rating for each fixture is listed in the product specifications above. As a general guide, IP44 suits covered or sheltered positions, while IP65 is rated for fully exposed conditions including direct rain.

The base of the pillar light should sit comfortably within the footprint of the post or column it mounts on — ideally no wider than the top surface. For standard brick or stone pillars, a base between 6 and 10 inches suits most residential applications. For larger statement columns, a wider base or lantern-style cap works best. All dimensions are listed in the product specifications above.

Yes. Pillar lights are hardwired fixtures that require connection to your existing outdoor wiring, which is typically routed up through the post or column. We strongly recommend installation by a licensed electrician to ensure safe wiring, correct weatherproofing of all connections, and compliance with local electrical codes. Installation hardware and instructions are included with every order.

Bulb type, base size, and maximum wattage are listed in the product specifications. Unless noted otherwise, bulbs are not included. We recommend warm white LED bulbs in the 2700K to 3000K range for the most welcoming entrance ambiance and best energy efficiency.

Materials vary by fixture and are detailed in each product listing. Our pillar lights are built for permanent outdoor installation — using materials such as powder-coated aluminum, stainless steel, solid brass, and tempered glass. All finishes are designed to resist rust, corrosion, and UV fading under normal outdoor conditions.

Please photograph the packaging and the damaged item as soon as you notice the issue, and contact us at support@treyfarley.com within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Every pillar light is covered by our 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
